We are happy to announce the formation of a new aviation museum at the Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport. It is called Warriors and Warbirds and is for the public to visit and enjoy seeing vintage World War Two military aircraft as well as to educate younger folks on the sacrifice of those who flew them and flew in them.
We are inviting everyone to join this new museum and help us acquire the Curtis-Wright C-46 Commando (below) as well as the many other things we need to operate. A fund raising drive is also under way to bring this rare flying WWII troop transport plane to Monroe to anchor the exhibit collection.
